Colin McGowan's Raku Ceramic Swords


Ceramicist Colin McGowan has been creating more items in his range of found/archaeological items series of works. These two swords are hand-built from grogged clay, broken, reassembled, raku fired and embellished with copper. Each piece in mounted on a scorched wooden board and each one has Colin's circular monogram stamp attached near the base.


These items are fabulous for mounting on the wall, or could be removed from their mount and displayed flat.


This sword has a celtic feel to the decoration.
